Octal participated in the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2026, held in Houston, Texas, from May 4–7, presenting our drill pipe, line pipe, coated steel pipe, casing and tubing, and pipe fittings for oil and gas projects. It was a pleasure to welcome visitors to our booth, introduce our products in person, and take time to understand the projects and requirements that brought them to OTC.
Amid the activity of the exhibition floor, we valued the opportunity to sit down and talk with visitors. Face-to-face conversations give people room to ask another question, explain a concern, or share details that can be difficult to communicate through emails alone. For our team, that personal exchange was an important part of being at OTC.
Conversations about drill pipe gave us a chance to look more closely at individual requirements, from pipe size and steel grade to tool joint connections and inspection records. Details such as compatibility with an existing drill string, the documentation needed for acceptance, and the timing of a planned delivery all help make an enquiry clearer. We appreciated visitors taking the time to explain their needs and ask follow-up questions-it helped us understand what needed a closer review and what information would be useful after the exhibition.
